English tea at T forty two ...

Finally..

That's the real word after almost a year been drooling to have a classic evening tea at this cafe.

Bukan jauh sgt pun actually, dekat Empire je..

But seriously  the place for me not so suitable when u have a small kids around..

*padahal mak bapak nak berdating*

Awal2 dulu, pernah nmpk mcm ada big vase dekat dalam cafe tu, itu yg buat jadik runsing kena kalau si Ryan tarik kan..abis!

So last week, we're on leave..

It's not t for two, I have my mom with us too..

Dapatlah ber high tea konon2.

=)

The vase and interior that I mentioned just now...

Rasenya kalau bawak 2 budak tu pun dah ok skrang, tapi karang ajak makan manis2 sugar rush pastu, sudah...

T forty two ni satu group dengan Ben's, Plan B dsb..

So, ok lah tak payah menapak smp KL kan, Empire dah ada..

Let's see we we had for our evening tea..

We had the T42 set..

Konon order ini desserts, sandwich bagai, skali adik tu bgtau, baik amik yg set..

Sb semua yg kitorang order ada..owh ye ke??

Mr Hubby ni kata nak evening tea tapi order latte..

And my mom yg out of set, kena extra drink..

Lagilah Omma minum juice..

Adddoiiii =)

And this tertier desserts set buat aku teringat2 lagi smp skrng..

Ok, thanks hubby for satisfy my long time craving..

On our 5th anniversary..

Ok, I should post this entry before we start fasting tomorrow, no more foods entry in fasting month. I should tune myself not thinking about food food food all the time too *mengalahkan preggy woman*, the right time for me to start reduce my weight  also*3kg target, hooyehh* =)

We have visited Publika about 2 weeks ago, yeap a backdated story *pardon me* It was on our 5th anniversary, genap-genap 5 tahun sebab fall on the same day of our akad nikah day. First time jugak sampai Publika. So Mr Hubby was a lil bit worry when I said I know where the place is and volunteered to show the directions.*dia tahu wife dia bukan tahu jalan sgt* But yeah, pasal2 shopping complex sonang aje nak hidu. Kagum dengan diri sendiri, we managed to reach Publika tanpa sesat from Pusat Sains Negara *ok, ok this story promise next week k* #greatshoppinginstinct

At first konon2 nak sangat ke Publika, sebab orang kata tempat cantik, alang2 sekali nak carik kasut anak-anak untuk raya. Yeah, tempat cantik memang betul tak dinafikan. But when come to choices to shop, kedai2 dia tak best sgt, maybe sb I preferred more kids boutique kut. Mmmm adoiiila!*owh but ada butik zleqha lah kat sane =)*

Seriously until now, I masih tak paham sistem kedai2 dekat publika ni, sgt confusing, berpusing2 carik kedai adoiilah..Itulah unique sgt sampai sesat dalam shopping complex, ntah pape +___+

I guess we are not so lucky that day. Dah lah sebelum tu berpusing nak makan kat mana. Bila dah decided ben's, lepas setengah jam pun, order tak sampai lagik. The first 15-20min, ingatkan sebab full house, so consider lah kan. Sekali tengok meja depan datang lagik lambat dari kami pun, diorang dapat dulu makan. Tak boleh jadik, so we called the waitress. yeah..she forgot to key in our order..*tukar jadik naga* Ok, nevermind. We tried to be cool instead. Lucky they don't delay any longer, 10min we managed to had our dinner. Hungaaaarrrryyyyy ok.

We tried to enjoy our dinner, walaupun lambat. Takpelah. But at least they did apologized for the mistake they made and the best thing they deducted 10% of total bill plus free for strawberry shortcake. Ok, apologize accepted, lain kali boleh datang lagik!!! Hahahhaa..senang kan =)

Ok, that's how we spent our anniversary dinner. But we did have fun in the morning visiting Pusat Sains Negara  and got chance to see Dinasour Live..auuummmm! Yang penting kids enjoy..*mak bapak join excited sekali sebab first time sampai!!Bocor rahsia* =)

Istimewa Ramadhan di Alicafe TigaRasa, USJ Taipan..

I've been invited for a food tasting event at Alicafe TigaRasa, USJ Taipan recently by Nuffnang. It was actually my first time ever attending food tasting session. Sincerely memang excited gila lah. Terasa macam dalam program JJCM u, enjoying the awesome foods galore!Owh..sooo heaven..=) 

As u may know, the famous Alicafe brand not only provides their customers with their various instant coffee for extra energy booster >.<, they have started to explore the new market in the culinary business too. And the latest venture in this business is the opening of new Alicafe TigaRasa Restaurant which started serving Malay cuisines since the end of Dec 2011.This new concept restaurant with English Malay classic modern  setting, enough to provide the customers a cozy environment while enjoying the authentic Malay cuisine.

During the food tasting event recently, we have been explained in detail about the speciality they have at this restaurant. The word "tigarasa" itself stands for the uniquely prepared of traditional Malay sauces which are the sambal lemak, gulai lemak and also sambal udang Geragau (Hebi-Hiam). 

These 3 sambal and gulai then can be enjoyed with choices of grilled ikan pari or ikan selar, grilled lamb, grilled chicken or grilled mix veggies served in hot plates. All the dishes serve upon the order, thus u may request to have it more spicy or just at moderate way. Yums! Some of the dishes we had during the food tasting are..

Grilled ikan pari with gulai lemak..

A very thick gulai lemak served with bendi and terung too.. 

For me, its a lil bit spicy.. *berasap telinga* tapi sodap!!

Grilled sayur panggang with sambal Hebi Hiam..

Jangan tak tahu ada petai sekali,..but the dried shrimp paste used memang best sgt..

I love this dish so much...as I'm the big lover terung masak sambal!! *gulp*

And the highly recommended by Alicafe staffs, grilled lamb in sambal lemak..

Those who are the lamb lovers, shud try this!

Other than 3 types of sambal and gulai, Alicafe also served Curry Fish Head which presented in a concoction of Malaysia herbs and this is one of Alicafe recommended dish. I enjoyed this fish curry so much. The curry is not so thick as we had at mamak stall, but the taste of curry and the fresh fish served, enough to make me enjoyed the dish so much.

In conjunction with the coming Ramadhan in few more days, Alicafe TigaRasa has come out with special menu for set berbuka puasa. This Istimewa Ramdhan Set which includes a cool refreshing kurma drink, kurma and Hokkaido cake as dessert, having promotion as low as RM10.90 for one person.

Wait, hujung-hujung minggu kalau nak berbuka puasa dengan family, the family set for group of 4-5 persons starting at RM 69.90 aslo provided.

I've requested Mr Hubby to take half day leave on my birthday in May as the wifey was so eager to have treat at T'forty Two, Empire. The place is so sweet and romantic with a lil bit touch of classics. Their delicious desserts really make me drooling and I was craving like a preggy mommy everytime I passed by the cafe. Since T'forty Two, Empire sgt  sempit with many big vases, I never plan to dine in when the two little heroes around. So, to have a special date with hubby on my birthday is something that I've been dreaming since couples of months ago.*planning baik punye*

On my birthday, I took half day leave in the evening just to celebrate with Mr Hubby. *sorry kids, mommy need a lil bit attention wuhahahaha* But being me yg so excited dah lama sangat tak kuar dating, we diverted the plan to Ben's Pavi instead of Empire. *dasar tamak biasalah kan, pastu sangkut jam, padan muka!* Tak tahu plak yang Ben's Pavi satu company dgn T forty Two tu under the Bright Ideas by BIG. Haiseh. And that was my first time to Ben's also. 

Well, tak menghampakan lah. The place is spacious and very cosy environment. Sesuai lah nak bawak hero-hero kami sebenarnya. Hahaha, since we seldom got  chance to have date like this, mulalah rase bersalah duk ingat kat dua budak bambam tu. Ntah pape lah mommy and papa ni. No worry, next visit, mesti bawak =).
